Pre-Delivery Inspector - Full Time
Midwest Transit Equipment, Inc. seeks Full-Time Pre-Delivery Inspector for our Swansea, IL location.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a PDI Tech to join our experienced and dedicated Service Team in Swansea. The PDI Tech needs to be quick, efficient, and have the ambition to work hard. This position will inspect new and lease vehicles. The PDI Tech will also assist with Parts Deliveries to customers

Requirements:

• Inspect new vehicle deliveries from manufacturer for damages and/or missing components
• Communicate with Service Manager about any repairs that are needed
• Install components on buses and perform general maintenance on vehicles
• Complete paperwork for all inspections completed
• Assist with Parts Deliveries during the off season
• Required to frequently lift/carry 50lbs
• Must be able work efficiently and neatly
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Assist in daily responsibilities of the department
• Must be detail oriented
• Must have own hand tools and toolbox (wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, wire cutter, etc.)
• Clean Driving Record
• CDL with air brake endorsement preferred

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
