About Our Team

We operate as a full-service, wide-array hospitality company with four generations of experience and dedication. We are located at 1 Celebration Way in Schodack, just 15 minutes from Albany, NY and 25 from Troy. We primarily serve the Capital Region, though our catering fleet can be seen as far as Cooperstown, Lake George, and Kingston. Our team hosts a wide variety of events in our eight versatile venue spaces.

About You

You should be ready to join a skilled and versatile kitchen team. You should be detail and task oriented, with at least a passing familiarity with food preparation and/or high-volume cuisine. While professional training is not explicitly necessary, it is a strong benefit. As a full-service caterer, your highest demand will be event-driven, primarily oriented around weekends. You should be prepared to serve a wide variety of cuisine, both as plated selections and buffet arrangements.

General Responsibilities we look for our line cooks to perform:

*Preparation of cuisine in a variety of both styles and settings *Rotation and inventory of food and dry stock *Ability to assemble dishes “on the fly,” both within a team and individually

General Qualifications that we look for in our line cooks:

*A love of cooking and passion for continuous improvement *Eagerness to work within a skillful and tightly-knit culinary team *Knowledge of the inner workings of a commercial kitchen, is a plus *Enthusiasm to grow your skills and expertise with real experiences

We ask that our staff be comfortable and capable of lifting at least 50 pounds, as kitchen responsibilities may require a physical component. Our kitchen team should be capable of spending several hours on their feet, sometimes exceeding eight hours at a time.

Compensation

We strive to be competitive and meet the expectations of our staff. Our kitchen positions start at $17 per hour and are commensurate with experience and responsibility. Cooks and chefs joining us with a greater level of responsibility and/or expertise typically begin at an elevated hourly rate. As a fourth generation family business, we encourage versatility among our team. As such, we offer very flexible hours and availability to our staff.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $17.00/hour.
