Piano Instructor
Mattix Music Studio is looking for a qualified traditional and/or Suzuki piano instructor to join our wonderful faculty. The piano teacher will teach in our school and/or travel for in-home piano lessons within 3 miles from our school.

We are a private music school and service families and students of all ages and abilities. Our teachers are employees rather than independent contractors, and have long-term job security. We prefer to hire professional teachers who are able to stay with us for many years.

Mattix Music Studio is located in the western suburbs of Chicago, in Western Springs, IL.

Most students schedule lessons after school but we also have morning and weekend lessons for families who need them. You can be flexible with your schedule and we try to get your students back-to-back so you don't have long gaps in your day. Typically, the most popular hours for in-home lessons are weekdays between 4:00-8:00pm and weekends.

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in piano required and one year of private teaching experience. Suzuki training is preferred and we will help fund your Suzuki training. Your interview will include performing one short piece (memorization not required).
