Summary:

The Product Owner role is a dynamic leadership opportunity in our organization that will sit at the intersection of business and technology. This role will serve as a domain expert responsible for owning Product roadmaps and solutions.

The Product Owner will partner with business stakeholders across our retail enterprise: Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Control, Store Operations, Human Capital, Finance, and Real Estate.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of product strategy and create/enhance a solution-oriented roadmap.
• Actively participate in developing the product strategy and vision supported by internal and external.
• Develop detailed requirements and user story definitions for features.
• Manage prioritization and trade-offs among domains and product teams.
• Work closely with engineering teams and program management to deliver products and features.
• Align business and technical needs to determine rollout strategy and manage risks.
• Defining vision and strategies for your product family, using domain expertise, internal and external best practices, identifying market opportunities, building business cases, and approving objectives.
• Build collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership.
• Balance the needs of the business, the customer, and technology to make efficient decisions regarding the product and prioritize roadmap deliverables.
• Work across the enterprise to communicate the release of new features and encourage engagement with the business users to facilitate training, integration, and feature adoption.

Requirements:

• A minimum of three years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in a retail or wholesale environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading the delivery of enterprise technology solutions
• Comfortable influencing others, communicating clearly, leading teams, and getting buy-in from leadership,
• The ability to turn a business discussion into product objectives and design artifacts.
• Experience in delivering digital solutions using Agile methodology
• Experience in using Azure DevOps OR Jira
• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience is preferred.
