Position Title: Program Manager

Position Background and Purpose:

Cogent Security Consulting LLC is seeking a Program Manager to lead support to the Department of Energy (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Personnel Security and Facility Clearances (OPFC) Support Services. The Program Manager is overall responsible for program support for the management and implementation of personnel security programs that support the Livermore Field Office and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Los Alamos Field Office and Los Alamos National Laboratory, NNSA Production Office, Pantex Plant and NPO-Y12, Nevada Field Office and Nevada National Security Site, Kansas City Field Office and the National Security Campus Kansas City, Sandia Field Office and Sandia National Laboratories, the Savannah River Field Office and Mixed Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility, and the Albuquerque Complex including the Office of implementation and programmatic oversight of DOE and NNSA personnel and facility clearance security policy. Related policies include the Personnel Security Program, Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12), Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI), and Facility Authorization and Facility Approval and Registration of Security Activities (FARA) Programs. In addition, OPFC serves as the primary point of contact for federal, state, and private agencies on matters concerning safeguards and security programs under DOE/NNSA cognizance.

Requirements:

1) Must be a U.S. citizen.

2) Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management.

3) 5 years of demonstrated experience and knowledge of DOE/NNSA safeguards and security programs.

4) Demonstrated experience in directing an organization with a diverse mix of management, technical, and administrative functions.

5) Demonstrated experience working with senior government officials.

6) Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance.

Preferred:

1) Master’s degree in Business Administration or comparable business management discipline.

2) 10 years of demonstrated experience and knowledge of DOE/NNSA safeguards and security programs.

3) Active DOE Q or Top Secret Clearance.

Additional Details:

1) Work will be performed in Albuquerque, NM. Must be local or willing to relocate.

2) Must be willing to travel to DOE/NNSA sites on short notice.

3) Full-Time.

4) Offer is contingent on Cogent Security Consulting LLC being awarded the contract.

Salary:

1) $135,000-$150,000 per year.
