Position Title: Project Team Lead

The Team Lead is responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of the assigned set of projects. They develop project proposals for various Automation Projects and Initiatives within Compumation and for Compumation’s clients.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

· Ability to develop and review proposals for small to large projects with unclear scope, risks and aggressive timelines.

· Ability to manage/develop budgets and schedules based on project requirements.

· Ability to negotiate additional resources, and funding to address deliverables that are outside the original scope of the project.

· Ability to forecast risk and proactively develop mitigation plans.

· Ability to influence customer decisions – share own expertise and best practice knowledge.

· Provides specific and detailed direction to assigned project resources on a regular basis and often acts as a functional supervisor.

· Gives guidance to engineering team on how to handle issues / disputes raised by subcontractors, vendors, and delivery partners.

• Vision Platforms: Cognex, Datalogic, Keyence, etc.
• MES Platforms: Rockwell / Allen-Bradley, Sepasoft, Wonderware, etc.
• High-level Programming: C#, HTML5, .NET, Cloud, SQL, VB, VBA, etc.

Qualifications

· Have a minimum of 3-5 years of full life-cycle project experience.

· Flexible with travel, which can be up to 20% across North America.

· Be flexible regarding working over-time and non-business hours when required.

• Extensive experience with some or all the listed “Technologies Used”, in previous section.
• Possesses at least one of the following: B.Sc. Computer Science, Business, Related Engineering and/or Diploma/Certification (or in some instances, related and equivalent experience).
