Quality Control Project Manager Job at Garney Construction
GARNEY CONSTRUCTION
A Quality Control Manager position based out of our Austin, TX project site is available at Garney Construction. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Ensure the project is built in complete accordance with the contract documents.
Check and document all material and equipment prior to installation.
Develop Testing Plans.
Develop Definable Features of Work
Perform all inspections and reporting in accordance with project specifications.
Document and direct the correction or replacement of any work not in conformance with the contract documents.
Prepare and submit the Quality Control Daily Reports as required by contract documents.
Be physically present on the project site during all phases of construction.
Maintain and update project record drawings.
Review and maintain submittal and RFI files.
Coordinate and monitor the activities of Quality Control Staff, including Quality Control Specialists; Commissioning Agencies; Special Inspectors, and third-party testing, inspection and laboratory.
Attend and conduct coordination meetings. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
An individual with a minimum of 10 years in construction with some background in quality control
A graduate of a four-year accredited college or university program in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Construction or Building Science with a minimum of 10 years of experience as Project Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Construction Manager on similar size and type of construction with major trades LET'S TALK THE PERKS!
