Everest Formulations is a turnkey dietary supplement manufacturing company. A Quality Technician I aims to ensure that the company’s product and service is fit for its purpose and meets both customer expectations and Federal Regulatory Compliances (cGMP).

Where appropriate, the Quality Technician I provides feedback to Quality Control Supervisor on changes to improve our Quality System.Examples of material are, but not limited to, powders, liquids, capsules, amino acids, vitamins, allergens, botanicals, etc.

Essential Job Duties

• Ensure that all received materials are quality released for production prior to using it to produce a work order.
• Perform line clearance before the start of a work order by visual inspection and swabbing using ATP and AllerSnap and Record results on iAuditor.
• Perform in-process inspection during production runs to ensure we meet product specification, and FDA cGMP safety regulations.
• Perform inspections on finished goods to ensure released products for sale meet validated design requirements, product specification, and FDA cGMP safety regulations.
• Coordinate and collect samples going for submission to the in house and outside laboratory.
• Collect quality retain samples.
• Perform daily scale calibration.
• Perform daily x-ray and metal detector verifications.
• Verify all sanitation is executed and recorded in logs properly.
• Assist with internal audits as needed.
• Inspect and investigate all internal non-conformances and plant related CAPA in order to report the root-cause analysis to Quality Control Supervisor and Quality Manager.
• Monitor the production processes and ensuing work order documentation to ensure that each work order and or lot is manufactured according to its validated process.
• Inspect all procedures are well executed by our employees, if poorly executed record and report to Quality Control Supervisor
• Monitor product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Follow the facility’s GMP, food safety and food quality programs to assure compliance and achieve desired results.
• Completion of other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Training

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Fundamental understanding of GMP and food safety.
• One (1) or more years of work experience as a Quality Technician in a similar work environment; or any combination of experience, education, and training that will provide the level of knowledge, skills, and ability required for the job.
