Regional ASC Administrator Job at National Spine and Pain Centers
We are seeking an experienced Regional ASC Administrator to support our team of highly trained, caring professionals at our ASCs located in FL, GA, MS, and AL.
- Must reside in Florida
- ASC experience required
- Perioperative nursing experience required

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:
- Assist with developing staffing patterns for the department, ensuring adequate staffing of personnel for safe quality patient care.
- Comply with federal and state regulatory standards.
- Assist with preparation of AAAHC surveys.
- Ensure operational excellence of NSPC practices as measured against company objectives and standards.
- Provide strategic leadership by working with management to establish, implement and lead the short and long-term goals, strategies, plans and policies of the NSPC.
- Take appropriate action required to bring centers up to company standards with both financial and customer satisfaction goals.
- Recruit, hire, train, mentor and manage Center Managers and Area Managers.
- Assist executive management in the preparation/analysis of annual financial operating budget.
- Monitor performance of centers in relation to budget and intervene as needed.
- Implement ‘best practice strategies’ to improve processes and policies to support organizational goals.
- Assist support staff, i.e. clinical, financial, IT, sales/marketing and HR to ensure centers and staff receive appropriate support.
- Schedule regular meetings with Center Managers and Area Managers to ensure that issues are addressed, and centers are receiving tools needed to be successful.
- Maintain effective relationships and open communication with the corporate office.
- Demonstrate a passion for caring as evidenced by interactions with employees and patients.
- Conduct on-site evaluations of centers and staff.
- Supervise the hiring and training and monitor performance of all staff for the assigned region.
- Assume direct onsite management for any center not performing to standard for any period of time required to implement the changes necessary for the center to come up to standard and meet company objectives.
- Participate in planning and implementing all new operational promotions, procedures, policies and guidelines
- Performs other duties as required and assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Ability to travel within southern region, including but not limited to FL, GA, MS, and AL as needed.
- A valid Registered Nurse license, Compact State or Multi-State license (if applicable).
- Previous Director of Nursing experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
- Background in perioperative nursing (OR, Pre-op, PACU).
- Minimum of 10 years healthcare experience.
- Knowledge of EMR and/or Electronic Practice Management systems and technologies, preferably Centricity and Modernizing Medicine.
- Proficiency in the use of computers and related software such as Microsoft Office is necessary.
- The capacity to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, while demonstrating resourcefulness and proactivity.
- Excellent organizational/multi-tasking skills with acute attention to detail.
- Ability to always provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively and professionally with a diverse population.
- Authorization to work in the United States without requiring authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Completion of satisfactory background check inclusive of driving records, criminal records, employment references, education, social security, and OIG exclusions.
