Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team in Little Rock, AR. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients undergoing minimally-invasive procedures in the radiology department. The ideal candidate will be an expert at managing complex patients and will be knowledgeable about the latest interventional radiology techniques.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct a thorough assessment of patients before, during, and after procedures
- Perform various nursing duties, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and evaluating patient responses to interventions
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop individualized care plans for all patients
- Document all nursing care provided in an accurate and timely manner
- Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and their families
- Educate patients and their families about the procedures and interventions involved in interventional radiology
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must possess a current and valid RN license in the state of Arkansas
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic Life Support certification required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred
