Hyatt Regency Birmingham – The Wynfrey Hotel consists of 329 beautifully appointed guest rooms and 32,000 square feet of event space, featuring 22 meeting rooms and Merk’s Tavern and Kitchen - casual dining and bar. We are connected to the Riverchase Galleria Mall, which features over 200 stores and restaurants. The hotel is only minutes from the attractions of downtown Birmingham, cultural and historic attractions and the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Oxmoor Valley.
The
Restaurant Supervisor assists the Restaurant Manager with training and development of staff. Performs duties of all positions within the department including serving, bartending, bussing, greeting, expediting. Resolves Team Member and guest-related situations. Acts as a Restaurant Manager when required. Experience in hosting, serving and cashiering is preferred. Must possess working knowledge of computer terminal and cash register operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1-2 year’s prior supervisory experience, prior hotel F&B restaurant experience or related education strongly preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers & Team Members.
- Excellent problem solving skills & ability to multi-task
- Prior cash handling & experience with MICROS POS system
- TIPS, CPR & Serve Safe certification preferred
- Able to work AM and PM Shifts; including weekends & holidays
