Job Summary

Record incoming payments to customer’s accounts, maintain accounts receivable records and provide all necessary services to customers.

Job Duties

Essential Functions

• Provide management reporting and tracking for department goals related to acknowledged revenue, aged receivables, revenue at risk, DSO, and cash flows.
• Accurately apply incoming wire and cash receivables to customer on a daily basis
• Ensure customer account information is accurate and update information as necessary
• Research and resolve discrepancies between invoices, customer account information and payments
• Ensure all customer files are accurate and complete in a timely manner
• Create manual invoices as required and update information in computer system
• Provide excellent customer service to customers, employees, and management
• Review posted payments daily and provide customers with account updates as necessary
• Initiate account collection calls as necessary
• Self-motivated to find solutions, and implement quickly

Job Specifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Management
• 3-5 years of Finance and Data Analysis Experience
• Functional understanding of SQL data and queries
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Microsoft preferable)
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics products preferred
• Expertise in Microsoft Office, specifically advanced Excel and/or Access skills. This is a position that requires a significant amount of time in MS Excel; a high degree of MS Excel proficiency, formulas such as VLOOKUP, IF/THEN statements, creation of pivot tables, for example, is required
• Experience with Rand McNally’s Milemaker and OEM automotive manufacturer websites is preferred
• Experience with Data Mining, financial analysis, critical thinking is preferred
• Experience with Revenue and accounting is preferred
• Experience with carhaul operations is highly preferred
• Extensive hours may be required
