RF Drive Test Telecom Engineer

Requirement:

Knowledge of DT Tools like XCAL QXDM TEMS is essential.

• AmeriCloud performs the testing and deployment of wireless infrastructure for major carriers across the nation. We are looking for an experienced Associate RF Engineer or Field Test Technicians to lead the collection of drive/walk test data (indoor and outdoor) on 4G LTE and 5G wireless networks.

Key responsibilities:

• Set up the drive testing gear.
• Collect drive test logs,
• Validate the accuracy of data after completing the testing,
• Upload “Error Free” drive test data,
• Create a naming convention for drive test files,
• Ensure drive test data is stored on a server in a well-organized file structure readily available for clients for present and future use,
• Train techs for setting up the drive test kit, collecting data and troubleshoot issues,
• Provide daily remote or onsite support to drive test teams including monitoring their progress and assisting them with any drive test kit or network issues hindering data collection,
• Maintain excel trackers for daily activity

Knowledge of Wireless Networks and RF Engineering andRF Design concepts and RF optimization will be quite beneficial· Hands-on experience with multiple RF drive test and data collection gears

· Excellent project and time management skills

· Proficient with laptops, tablets, cell phones, installing/removing apps and using office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access

· Great analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Enjoys teaching others and seeing them excel

· Perform the job functions in isolated/remote areas occasionally or as and when needed

· Friendly and professional work environment fostering growth for our employees

· Valid Driver License, Valid work authorization, must pass a drug test, Must be physically able to travel for extended periods
