Our Client is currently seeking AMC for positions in Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will possess recent experience in the related field.

Requirements & Skills:

• 1+ years of experience in the related field
• Must be able to pass background and drug screening
• Medical on-boarding (if applicable to your position)
• Covid Vaccine required (May depend on facility requirement)
• As needed Hospital Specifics: Certifications: Ortho preferred.
• BLS Post-Surgical care 2 Years of Hospital Experience.
• ACLS Ortho Experience.
• Experience Preferred Ortho or med surg certified preferred, but not required Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN ) ACTIVE TX RN LICENSE temp license will NOT be accepted .
• Must be an expert in nursing communication and familiar with all NTX division MUST HAVES for BSSR, Rounding, etc
• Studying patients' medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
• Tracking routine heart rate, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry measurements.
• Monitoring, interpreting, and recording data from specialized medical technologies and equipment.
• Administering medication and performing treatment interventions in consultation with healthcare specialists.
• Maintaining and updating ward charts, patient files, and medical records.
• Instructing Telemetry Unit staff on patient care and treatment plans.
• Collaborating with healthcare specialists and reporting changes and deteriorating conditions.
• Explaining tests results and procedures to patients and their families, as well as answering questions.
• Advising patients on post-hospital care, including prescribed medicine, home care protocols, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes.
