We are a retail rock yard looking for a competitive off-site sales assistant to help bring more business in. Sales Assistant duties include traveling to local competitive companies and increasing sales which includes traveling to nurseries, talking to masonry's, contractors, etc. The goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase company’s growth and revenue through sales maximization. Occasionally may travel out of state if needed.

A successful candidate will have 5+ years prior experience assisting sales professionals in a high stress environment and be able to communicate effectively with internal and external clients. This is an entry-level position with plenty of opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants.
• Recommend and display items that match customer needs.
• Keep up to date with product information.
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies' policies and procedures.
• Make Calls, mail our inventory to All landscape companies and masonry vendors, Etc.

Requirements and skills

• Proven working experience in retail sales.
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Proficiency in English
• Track record of over-achieving sales quota
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service focus
• Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
• Basic administration skills
