Inside the Role
Develop and implement wholesale and retail used truck sales and finance programs supporting Daimler Truck Remarketing (DTR) and the SelecTrucks retail network. Develop annual sales training strategy for used truck distribution network that includes instructor-led, self-paced, and web-based training curriculum, training materials and training event management.

Position offers a starting salary range of $110,500 - $141,500 USD

What You Drive at DTNA
  • Responsible for wholesale and retail used truck sales program development and corresponding communication to the distribution network.
  • Coordinate all aspects of program development, from exploration to implementation, including ROI estimations, managing supplier partners, and internal system support functions.
  • Provide accurate, regularly scheduled reporting of program performance to DTR Management in order to communicate program ROI and to provide insight that will guide future business strategies.
  • Oversee the development of incentive programs for DTR's primary distribution channels; including strategy/management, communication, administrative support, promotions, and event management responsibilities.
  • Develop annual sales training strategy for used truck distribution network that includes instructor-led, self-paced, and web-based training curriculum, training materials, and supplier/event management.
  • Manage and enhance Used Truck Sales Certification Program.
  • Regularly communicate with the DTNA New Trucks sales training organization to ensure content relevance and best practice sharing.
  • Establish effective relationships with various finance and insurance (F&I) providers, and act as DTR's liaison with Daimler Truck Financial (DTF).
  • Work jointly with providers to develop new products and services for SelecTrucks Centers and DTNA Dealers. Work jointly with providers to develop new products and services for SelecTrucks Centers and DTNA Dealers.
Knowledge You Should Bring
  • BS/BA and prefer 5-7 years of related experience OR a Master's degree with 4 years of related experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Strong organizational, budget management, project management, interpersonal communication and presentation skills required
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office required

Exceptional Candidates Might Have
  • OEM commercial truck or automotive marketing and/or sales experience preferred
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
  • Sales training experience preferred
