TITLE: Architectural Glass Sales Representative
LOCATION: White Plains, New York
INDUSTRY: Architectural Glass
WORK LOCATION: This a a hybrid remote position. Expect to be in the White Plains, NY office 3 days per week on average when not traveling to customer sites.
TRAVEL? - Yes, and expect 50-60% annually (car and plane)

COMPENSATION: Around $80k base salary plus 20% annual bonus potential
You will be an expert in:
- The knowledge of the company's products and respective market opportunities
- The metrics related to pricing, profitability, expenses, and supply chain
- Identifying opportunities and mitigating risks throughout the sales cycle
- Driving to build and maintain customer relationships and partnering to sell the company's portfolio solutions
Interface with Architects:
- Present sales materials and architectural samples to architects in person and remotely via ZOOM, TEAMS, or other like systems
- Identify leads and proactively follow up to stay relevant in potential projects
- Provide technical assistance in the selection of materials for projects and understand how to influence performance specifications and aesthetic requirements
- Furnish budget pricing for all products
Interface with Bidders & Customers:
- Assist with product selection
- Quote pricing and make-ups for projects
- Follow up on leads and quotes
Interface with factory technical and sales personnel in Germany, Switzerland, Syracuse NY, and others as required:
- Discuss recommended glass make-ups for varying applications and communicate changing market needs
- Engage in pricing discussions and updates on quoted projects as an intermediary between the customer and the factory
- Facilitate problem-solving dialogue throughout the sales cycle as needed
Interface with the company's North American team:
- Actively contribute to team atmosphere and office operations
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, architecture or communication
- Advanced knowledge of daylight modeling software
- Excellent communication and team skills
- Experience with outside sales, customer follow-up and familiarity with CRM tracking preferred
- Must be holder of a valid driver’s license and own a vehicle for business travel
This role is in-person at least 3 days per week at the office in White Plains, NY unless traveling. Applicant will be required to travel to architectural and project related offices throughout North America (by plane and car) 50-60% of the time. Applicant shall be capable of traveling with and presenting architectural glass samples weighing between 6 and 12 lbs. each.
