Your Role
The Coordinator plays an essential role to success of Kuehne+Nagel Drayage logistics including dispatching and monitoring movement of containers for the customers. They ensure smooth and constant information between all partners. The Coordinator is in charge for the entire process from receiving until invoicing and closing. You will be reporting to Sea Freight Drayage Solutions ManagerYour Responsibilities
- Assign, rate, and send delivery orders to ensure the best possible service, while mitigating cost
- Understand your assigned geographical market for ports and ramps
- Monitor shipments to ensure all status are completed
- Work with all partners to meet load expectations and communicate any shipment updates
- Document any service failures or events on the file
- Address financial transactions with relevant parties by working together with the accounting department and team management to assure payables are
- Collect and organize data for reporting
- Seek constant self-development through Kuehne+Nagel Learning plans on operational systems, markets, policies, and behaviors
- Collaborate with all partners to provide excellent customer service
- Ensure vendor invoices are received timely and complete
- Prevent additional accessorial charges by finding solutions within supply chain
Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelors/First University Degree: Supply Chain Management preferred
- 1+ years of Sea Logistics experience
- 1+ years of Leadership Experience
- 2+ years of Industry experience
- High knowledge of Logistics, Operations and Import/Export regulations
