Seasonal Cashier Job at DICK'S Sporting Goods
We are currently seeking a Cashier to join our team! The role of the Cashier is to assist customers by accurately processing their orders. The successful candidate for this position should have strong customer service skills, an attention for detail, and a commitment to accuracy. The Cashier will also be responsible for handling cash and credit card transactions, operating point of sale systems and maintaining a clean, safe and organized workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Count change in cash register.
- Look for bills or other items customers might have left on the counter.
- Tend the checkout area of a retail establishment.
- Know how to use a cash register.
- Practice good hygiene, such as washing hands and not wearing perfumes or colognes that could offend customers.
