Job Description

Vertex Security is hiring for the long term, we are looking to provide a safe and steady position for the right person. We have immediate openings for motivated and experienced individuals to serve as field security systems installation technician.

This is the ideal position for someone that is looking to take their career to the next level with a stable and established company.

Responsibilities

Running wires & race ways, installing, terminating, and testing security cameras, access control, intercoms, and network infrastructure.

Qualifications

Three plus years experience installing and/or servicing security cameras, and access control with an understanding of electronics, wiring, local and national codes

• Strong knowledge with Video, CCTV, relays, IP systems and basic knowledge networks
• Valid NY Driver's license, this position is including company's vehicle.
• Have hand and power tools available for work
• Performs scheduled and/or routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment/systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems and checking out equipment to ensure it’s in satisfactory working order
• Promote, build, and maintain good customer relations and assists with contract retention. Seek opportunities for change orders
• Strong communication skills in order to effectively communicate with co-workers, management, and customers
• OSHA 30 certification with SST is a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
