Kuros Biosciences USA, Inc. Senior Accountant to function as a key contributor with ample room for growth. This newly created on-site role is responsible for day-to-day accounting functions – entering JE, reconciling accounts, and financial reporting every month. Reporting directly to VP Finance and Administration. this is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, forward-thinking individual to make a direct impact with a fast-growing international company. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of private and public accounting experience, a CPA license, or someone on the path to taking the CPA exams and goals for professional growth. This role requires a detail-oriented, hands-on professional with the agility to execute and optimize accounting processes in a fast-paced environment.

The specific responsibilities include:

• Day-to-day accounting operations and activities, including A/R and A/P, fixed assets, cash, invoicing, collections, and other activity
• Contribute to the monthly close process across all businesses, including journal entries, inter-company transactions, account analyses, and reconciliations
• Support the preparation of financial analysis and management reporting, including presentations, distribution reports, and KPIs
• Bank reconciliations and cash forecasting
• Collaborate with other functional teams to streamline processes for greater efficiency, accuracy, and consistency
• Support multiple external financial statement audits
• Assist with outside consultants, including tax preparers, and auditors
• Streamline/automate current manual processes.
• Perform ad hoc analysis as needed

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• CPA strongly preferred
• 3 -5 years of experience in corporate accounting
• Experience with ERP systems such as MS Dynamics Navision or other similar systems
• Knowledgeable in accounting principles (IFRS) (US GAAP), including consolidation reporting/elimination entries
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to identify problems and discrepancies, independently perform research and analysis of causes, and recommend corrective actions
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel (advanced experience preferred), Word, and Powerpoint
• Mindful, accountable, ethical, responsible, respectful, and collaborative approach to work
• Experience deploying and implementing accounting platforms (including integration with ERP systems) is a plus
• Eager to learn new systems, processes, and accounting for a growing company
