Senior Analyst, FP&A – North America Job at OFX

We are looking for a Senior Analyst, FP&A to join our growing North American team. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will be a key member of the finance team working to increase the company’s efficiency and profitability through planning, decision support and management reporting. You will partner closely with the Controllership and Sales teams, providing perspectives and decision support services.

Please note that this is a hybrid position, working 1 day a week out of our San Francisco office.
What you'll do
- Ensure quality, consistency & accuracy of FP&A information provided to internal teams and includes board meetings
- Assist in the preparation of the regional budget
- Building standardized reports leveraging data from centralized corporate systems
- Work with internal teams to set KPIs to support business decisions, review monthly results and identify the cause of any unexpected variances, and draft comprehensive reporting packages
- Collaborate with FP&A team members to enhance total company reporting & develop FP&A maturity
- Liaise with Controllership group to provide regional analytics for management oversight and decision making
- Be the first point of contact for regulators with a demonstrated ability to communicate requirements clearly, timely, and effectively with internal Legal and Compliance teams
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure all regional licensing requirements are proactively managed within necessary timelines.
- Some travel will be required (<10%).
What you bring
Post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, or other relevant area from a recognized institution- Certification as a CPA is an asset
- 5-8 years of progressive professional experience in Finance related functions, Commercial Finance, decision support, FP&A, or Controllership
- Track record of making a difference in past roles by identifying, modelling, and executing on business plans
- Strong relationship and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage, partner and prioritise across diverse global stakeholders
- Curious and self-starting attitude with ability to think fast while maintaining a systematic approach
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work autonomously and within a cohesive team
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
