Experienced Interior Designer Wanted!

We are an energetic, forward thinking, organized interior design and construction company, looking for an experienced interior designer to join our team full-time. Our ideal candidate will be proficient in CAD, have knowledge of high-end FF&E vendors, and be experienced in using Google Drive, SketchUp, and Studio Designer a plus. Knowledge of construction and dealing with trades is essential, as is the ability to problem solve, work to deadlines, and manage and prioritize project-related tasks. A strong team player with the ability to adapt to handle the unexpected is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to develop and execute design concepts for high-end residential and commercial projects.
• Develop detailed construction drawings, cabinetry design, and millwork specifications.
• Manage vendors and contractors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Utilize CAD, Google Drive and SketchUp to create and manage design documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and clients to ensure that design intent is understood and executed to the highest standard.
• Problem-solve and think on your feet to ensure that projects are executed seamlessly.
• Prioritize and manage project-related tasks to ensure that deadlines are met.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' senior level experience in interior design, with a focus on high-end residential or commercial projects.
• Proficiency in CAD, Google Drive, SketchUp, and Studio Designer.
• Knowledge of high-end FF&E vendors and cabinetry design.
• Experience working with contractors and trades to manage construction projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to execute design concepts to the highest standard.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
