We are looking for a Senior Living Sales Expert to join our Sales team at Spring Hills Senior Communities. This role will be based in Edison, NJ and will require travel. Senior Living Sales Specialist will report directly to VP of Sales.

Position Summary:

Increase sales revenues by working directly with sales teams to develop and promote admissions and Census development in short and long term fill up campaigns. Travel to locations that require additional sales support and lead team in census building efforts. This position reports to Director of Sales Development.

  • Essential Functions:
  • Build Census growth by actively selling with the One-on-One sales approach
  • Actively works with sales team in census challenged communities and/or new projects, providing long term and short term on-sight support as needed.
  • Assist in developing sales teams by adhering to the One-on-One sales system.
  • Assists Director of Sales Development in developing and implementing effective sales strategies to accommodate corporate goals.
  • Arrange and conduct on-site tours and off-site visits with prospective residents and their families for the purpose of discovery.
  • Cold call prospects via phone and home visits.
  • Maintain a detailed Sherpa tracking system on all prospects.
  • Facilitate and participate in Top Ten Team Meetings Daily.
  • Continuously pursue creative, unique, and personal follow up for prospects and their families.
  • Actively develops and maintains Relationships with Community and Referral Partners
  • Creates and develops events and marketing initiatives for prospects, referral sources and public.
  • Recommends community promotions, advertising and PR opportunities.
  • Promotes community via social media.
  • Maintains marketing budget for the department.
  • Assist Executive Directors in evaluating team performance.
  • Recommend community market pricing, sales tools, and incentives.
  • Prepares periodic sales and competitor analysis and reports.
  • Assists in relationship development with appropriate referral sources.
  • Must be willing to work the necessary hours to complete duty including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
  • Process pertinent marketing information in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain current knowledge of key competitor pricing, strengths, and weaknesses.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in Senior Living Sales.
  • Experience with Sherpa CRM
  • A Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.,B.A.) from a four year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and own a car. This role will require travel.
