Title: Senior Network Engineer DAY TO DAY A media and entertainment client is looking for a Sr. Network Engineer to support a new project on site in NYC - there is a property that needs network design and implementation. This person will be joining the Business Network Design Services team which designs the network infrastructure to directly support business units including LAN, MAN, WAN, Internet, Wifi, and voice network services. This individual will be working with internal business units requests on network builds (for example, a firewall rule or building out wifi on a floor). Requests may range from small to longer term projects. They will be receiving requests through ServiceNow, they'll meet with the business unit leader to intake the request and understand requirements, the they will provide a cost estimate for the hardware, labor, etc. Once approved, they will kick off and manage the procurement of hardware and begin writing design packages. This role is NOT an operations, configuration, or implementation role, this is a design role solely focused on writing and documenting the design for others to implement. They will also be responsible for managing vendors and timelines for the purpose of execution. Must Haves -7+ years of experience supporting network operations, implementation, design, and architecture -Experience supporting enterprise LAN, MANs, WANs, VPNs and remote access solutions -Cisco products experience -Excellent communication and soft skills to be able to manage project timelines and work with many business unit leaders Plusses -Certifications: CCNP, CCNA -Experience with multiple vendors, switching, routing, and security products beyond Cisco -Media and Entertainment experience Logistics: On site NYC Interview process: • Tech assessment on Cisco first and a design scenario • Second tech • Sign off by Armand
