Center Point Energy is looking for a Service Delivery Specialist to join our Team, located in Minneapolis, MN.
You will have the ability to:
Inspects the work of subcontractors and service providers engaged in installation, maintenance and service work on HVAC equipment, appliances, and interior piping on customer’s premises. As appropriate, negotiates exceptions with customers and subcontractors, adhering to policy and quality service standards.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Performs field evaluations of subcontractors and service provider’s performance to provide ongoing feedback to build their capability to appropriately represent CPE. Monitors subcontractor and service provider’s communications, training, and skill level to ensure desired performance levels are met.
- Performs random Quality Assurance inspections to ensure continuous improvement and CPE standards of quality, safety, and customer service are upheld.
- Maintains familiarity with HSP products, features, and installation requirements. Serves as a product resource and liaison for subcontractors, service providers, and sales representatives.
- Builds and maintains positive relationships with subcontractors and service providers to effectively communicate criteria that outline CPE standards and expectations regarding appliance installation, customer satisfaction initiatives, and goals related to service delivery guidelines. Solicits and tracks customer feedback on subcontractor and service provider’s performance.
- Resolves customer satisfaction issues in a timely and cost-effective manner which best satisfies the customer, the subcontractor, and HSP’s margin goals while communicating needed information to the parties involved.
- Participate in Duty Supervisor rotations
- Participate in inventory audits as requested and other duties as assigned.
Your background includes:
- Requires two years vo-tech course work in HVAC or related trade; or coursework in business administration and/or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
- Requires three or more years’ experience in HVAC installation, plumbing and HVAC related services.
- Customer Service Supervisor experience or demonstrated leadership ability.
A bonus to have:
- Able to hear oral communication in person and on a telephone, mobile phone or radio.
- Able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, balance, climb, crawl, reach, stand, walk, pull, lift, use fingers and grasp on a daily basis.
- Able to exert physical effort on a daily basis.
- Able to operate a motor vehicle, including ability to enter and exit vehicle unassisted.
- Able to operate a personal computer desktop, laptop or tablet
- Able to exert up to 75 pounds of force occasionally and/or minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise maneuver objects.
- Able to perform work indoors in an office environment or outdoors.
- Able to work more than 40 hours per week as required to meet established deadlines and accomplish objectives.
- Able to be included in a random drug screen pool required for DOT safety sensitive positions.
- Able to distinguish differences between all colors
