Shipping Lead Person Job at Custom Building Products
Custom Building Products is currently seeking a Shipping Lead Person to oversee 2nd shift Shipping Department at our Lithia Springs, GA location.
Responsibilities:
This will be a working lead position. In addition to day-to-day shipping forklift duties, this position will manage employees to consistently perform tasks in accordance with standardized safety and quality assurance protocol. Responsibilities include optimizing productivity through the safe and proper use of all systems, equipment, and the handling of materials.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Encourage and ensure a safe workplace
- Maintain a highly focused and motivated team
- Facilitate World Class Manufacturing Practices
- Assist with inbound and outbound shipping schedules
- Assist in managing labor and overtime expenses
