Site Material Control Coordinator – Brooksville Fl
Contract 3 to 4 months
Must be proficient in Windows as well as able to the handle inventory of parts in NetSuite.

Position Summary
Our client is currently seeking a talented Site Material Control Coordinator who would be responsible for coordinating materials under the direction of the logistics manager.

  • Specifically Manages escalation process for site material issues

Role and Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the safety commitments in compliance with OSHA, Client, and our customers' processes and procedures are met daily.Works under the direction of the Logistics Manager as part of the Site Management Team.
  • Coordinates scheduling/unloading for trucks.
  • On site when all material arrives
o Verifies or corrects all BOLs/packing slips
o Inspects all material for damage
o Maintain copies of BOLs/packing lists and update Netsuite
o Scan and fax-back BOLs/ packing slips
  • Controls and communicates the material laydown plan
o Need material laydown plan and identifications
  • Manages material related KPIs (inventory accuracy, shipping coordination, warehouse space utilization, 5s, adherence to schedule)
  • Manages escalation process for site material issues
  • Communicates and maintains supply chain issues via JIRA
  • Ensure accurate inventories maintained by contractor in location and Client internal materials for site management
  • Unloading and moving delivered materials as required
o Forklift certified
o Able to lift boxes up to 40lbs
  • Contribute to the daily site coordination meeting for status and coordination of incoming materials and material issues
o Plan for tomorrow's deliveries
o Accuracy from previous day
o Status of today's deliveries
  • Work with contractors and site management to ensure adequate near-term material availability
o Compare inventory levels with 2-3 week look ahead
  • Forecast any material shortfalls and alert appropriate personnel
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership

Education and Experience
  • 3 years in a warehouse environment. Previous experience with automation highly preferred
  • Takes critical feedback and recognition positively.
  • Ability to Multi-task and perform multiple job functions at once.
  • Must be literate, written and verbal, in English Language.

Environment
  • Must be able to work at heights of up to 45 feet and within restrictive areas of 24 inches.
  • Subject to environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily temperature changes. Must be capable of working in temperatures ranging from 105° to 32° Fahrenheit.

Physical Requirements
  • Frequent ability to lift items weighing safely and efficiently up to 60lbs and move items weighing up to 80lbs.
  • Stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
  • Must be capable of occasional and/or continuous feeling, seeing, hearing, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, balancing, gripping, climbing, crawling, sitting, handling objects, and repetitive movement using both hands and feet.
  • All employees are required to make safety their top priority.
