Westbrook Media is hiring a Social Media Manager primarily responsible for developing and directing the overall planning, management, coordination, and execution of social strategy and content, for the official @BelAirPeacock social handles while closely collaborating with the internal and external partners. The Social Media Manager oversees day-to-day posting, community management, content strategy, and audience development. This role models brand stewardship, ensuring the digital expression of the Bel-Air brand aligns to all brand guardrails. This involves reviewing and providing recommendations for all social media posts and calendars to drive engagement, views, and follower growth.

The ideal candidate will have proven success as a social media manager/producer at a TV network, streaming service or studio, where you have led the execution and management of a campaign from start to finish. Additionally, you are someone who is obsessed with social content creation and trends, while also having extensive experience creating content and writing for social audiences across various social platforms. This individual does not shy away from working at every level and getting things done.

This is a fully remote 12 week project-based position (January - March 2023)

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the @BelAirPeacock social media handle(s) while working in close partnership with key teams in Editorial, Digital Content, Production, and Program Management—to develop social strategy that aligns to marketing strategy, audience development goals, and authentically reaches diversified portfolio of fans while staying true to the brand voice, values, and commitment to quality.
  • Strategize and plan 360 digital marketing campaigns across all platforms to bring awareness and engagement to the titles that we're responsible for.
  • Partner and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the entire process.
  • Ideate, coordinate and oversee the production of social content plans.
  • Analyze campaigns and translate data into recommendations and guidance for future campaigns.
  • Collaborate with designers and video editors to execute original editorial, graphic design and video assets.
  • Ability to identify platform algorithm trends and cultural moments for campaign tactics.
  • Craft social copy in accordance with brand guidelines and tone of voice.

Who You Are:

  • At least 3 years of experience producing custom social content and managing brand social accounts, preferably within a TV network, streaming service or studio
  • Mastery of major digital platforms including (but not limited to) Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Spotify, Apple Music, Shazam, Tumblr
  • Knowledge & familiarity of reporting platforms: (YouTube Dashboard, Twitter Dashboard, Facebook Analytics, etc.)
  • Strong storytelling abilities and writing skills for social media. Must be able to provide samples of previous work
  • Obsessed with social media, the entertainment industry and cultural trends
  • Must be proficient in Google Docs
  • Must be a quick learner, able to take the reins on a project with limited guidance
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once
