General Summary of Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer II with experience in full-stack development, specifically with proficiency in TypeScript, React, CI/CD, Kafka, and application scaling. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development best practices and experience building scalable, high-performance applications.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop features, tools, and capabilities that enhance the EPIK product infrastructure, management web interface, and hardware product.
- Support Engineering escalations and identify bugs and provide guidance for remediation.
- Provide mentorship to engineering team members.
- Lead development team and identify areas for operational improvement.
- Provide knowledge and experience developing REST API.
- Develop all levels of the MERN stack, debugging problems from UI to backend system.
- Provide administrative support for Git repository.
- Assist with Research and Development needs and provide expertise in developing firmware for EPIK Edge and ATA’s.
- Develop and support containerization systems like LXC, LXD, Dockers.
- Provide operational and engineering support for Freeswitch and ESL dial plan.
