As a member of our All-Star Culinary Dream Team, the Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef and F&B Director in overseeing kitchen operations and be responsible for independently performing all necessary kitchen duties to keep our guests coming back for more!

• A skilled Sous Chef will assist with Culinary innovation, help develop menus, and prepare dishes which will delight our customers with great taste and timely delivery.
• Following instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be adept in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experienced in using various ingredients and cooking techniques.
• Furthering the goals to preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele and capture more covers.
• The ability to hire, train, and lead a kitchen team.

What you will be doing

• Ability to prepare and maintain a work station including proper labeling and dating, as well as, cleanliness
• Ability to follow standardized recipes
• Knowledge of proper proteins cooking internal temperatures
• Check quality of ingredients, as well as, monitor stock and advise of shortages
• Can blend with a team and contribute to the common goal

The ideal candidate for this position has

• Proven experience as cook and supervisor
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
• Ability to lead and work in a team
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent physical condition and stamina, standing for a minimum of 8 hours
• High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs
• Must have Texas Food handlers certification or the ability to receive one within 30 days
