Alta Therapies is pleased to announce a PRN Speech Language Pathologist position out of our Davis/Weber UT office. This position will be a Home Health opportunity servicing the Davis/Weber area. We will compensate you two ways-you'll enjoy an hourly rate between $40-$43 and then a per visit amount of $58-$63. Alta Therapies is dedicated to providing exceptional care to all of our patients.

We're excited to offer our therapists an opportunity to deliver patient centered care. We empower therapists to decide what their patients need, and allow enough time in their day to deliver. There are no 15 minute encounters, we do not schedule at 125% production, and we encourage our therapists to spend the time to ensure each patient receives the care they require.

Our Speech Language Pathologist will be in charge of the following:

• Evaluating levels of swallowing, speech and language difficulty
• Identifying treatment options
• Creating and carrying out individualized treatment plans addressing specific functional needs
• Teaching patients how to make sounds while improving their voices and maintaining fluency
• Helping individuals improve sentence structure and vocabulary used in written and oral language
• Working with adults and children in developing and strengthening muscles used to swallow
• Counseling individuals and families on ways to cope with swallowing and communication disorders

We are looking for a detail oriented, dedicated, and committed SLP for our patients. Through our staff of skilled and compassionate people, it is our mission to provide quality, individualized services which strengthen the independent lifestyle and promote dignity of the elderly and disabled in their own place of residence. Our Speech Language Pathologist would be an integral part of our team.

Our SLP must have reliable transportation, a clean driving record and valid driver's license, a current auto insurance policy, and a Utah SLP license.
