REPORTS TO: Bakery Manager/ASM-Fresh

BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to ensure excellent customer service and that store standards are

met. Provide customers with prompt service, consistently serving quality beverages under the Starbucks banner and related

products while creating a clean, friendly, safe, and fun environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Passion for Customer Service:

➢ Welcome and connect with each and every customer
➢ Effectively recommend products and accommodating purchases to enhance the customer experience
➢ Provide product demonstrations and sampling
➢ Ensure that each customer experience results in a “WOW”.

➢ Only serve items that meet visual and product quality standards
➢ Demonstrate knowledge and practice of safe food handling
➢ Follow merchandising, stock, rotation and storage standards
➢ Present oneself in a clean professional manor during every shift

➢ Follow proper cash handling procedures and register policies
➢ Follow inventory and stock guidelines
_ Assume responsibility to learn and demonstrate knowledge as a barista _

➢ Responsible for self-initiated learning beyond the standard training program
➢ Learn and demonstrate all standards of product and conduct established by The GIANT Company and Starbucks

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: To competently perform at a proficient level and be fully qualified, a person would be expected to have:

1. Education (Minimum Needed): High School or equivalent certificate

Experience (Minimum Needed: Preferable supervisory and or barista experience

4. Special Skills: Customer focused, strong interpersonal skills, foodhandling certificate preferred
