  • Position: Summer Food Service Program Meal Preparation Staffing

Summer Site Lead (2 positions): 5-6 hours per day/4 days per week (hours may vary depending on program size) - $18.61per hour

Support Staff (1 position): July 5 - July 29

3 hours per day/3 days per week - $17.13 per hour

Work Site: Oakridge Elementary School/Satellite Serving Location

Start Date: June 27

  • Minimum Qualifications (All Applicants):
  • High school diploma or equivalent (If current student, this requirement is waived).
  • Ability to follow directions and carry out assigned tasks.
  • Must obtain a Food Handlers card (Reimbursed by District).
  • Knowledge of kitchen utensils, equipment and sanitary methods of food preparation/handling.
  • Valid Driver’s License

Site Supervisor –

  • Organizing and assisting with food preparation and distribution.
  • Paperwork requirements - meal counts, production records, food inventory. Communicate food needs with the Food Service Coordinator on a regular basis. Deliver completed paper work to the Food Service Coordinator daily.
  • Organizing and managing staff for food preparation/distribution.

Both positions:

  • Preparing, handling and storing food in accordance with proper food safety guidelines
  • Understanding the Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP) System
  • Ensuring food service equipment is properly maintained and secured
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
