Laborie Medical Technologies is currently searching for a Supervisor IT Service Desk to join our team at our Portsmouth, NH location.


Position Overview:

Lead the team of service desk technicians and engineers to provide high-quality IT service and support for all Laborie team members whether through tickets, virtually, or on-site as needed.


How you contribute:

  • Managing the Laborie IT Service Desk Ticketing system, including maintenance and licensing
  • Providing ticket assignment to the various service desk team members, including monitoring SLA’s and escalations
  • Delivering Executive IT Support as needed
  • Focus on Key Performance Indicators, such as incoming calls, outgoing calls, and open/aging calls, and provide reporting to monitor KPI delivery
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and technical expertise for:
    • Installing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting end-user IT Workplace environments
    • Other related hardware and software issues as needed
    • Creating and modifying user accounts in all approved systems
  • Responsible for software (licensing) and hardware inventory, including mobile devices and printer/MFD’s
  • Work with 3rd party vendors on Projects and to resolve issues
  • Continual Development of IT Procedures and Documentation, both for users and IT Service Desk team members
  • Provide collaborative support for the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrade, and support of IT systems, including phone systems, mobile devices, networks, data centers, servers, PCs, operating systems, and associated hardware.
  • Collaborate with Business partners and IT team members, along with IT leadership to develop and periodically review the device standards for users
  • Provide on call/off hours support as needed for the organization
  • Deliver regular feedback to Service Desk team members, including annual goal and performance appraisals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience as a team lead or senior engineer in a Service Desk
  • Familiarity with the advanced principles of ITIL as well as Service Management/Service Desk tools
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong Customer service skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening skills.
  • Microsoft Technology Certifications preferred, such as Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud, SCCM/InTune, etc.
