Supply Chain Administrator Job at Pilatus Aircraft Ltd
Pilatus is hiring a Supply Chain Administrator to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for administering aircraft component repairs, sourcing materials, and procuring goods and services. You will work with qualifying vendors to negotiate terms and secure goods in a timely and efficient manner to support our customers. What you do
- Evaluates core return and disposition as applicable for repair, purchase replacement, store, or scrap
- Initiates and follows through on all core and non-core vendor recovery claims
- Monitors time life information on all components to be reworked
- Reviews Repair Quotes and assures best option for repair and overhaul selections, prices and approves in accordance with Rules of Authority
- Creates Repair Orders to vendors for exchange parts
- Follows up with vendors to expedite repairs and ensures compliance with agreed turnaround times
- Assists in managing inventory of exchange parts, quotes, and places orders so items are available when needed, without carrying excessive inventory levels
- Keeps team informed of cost advantages, product availability, vendor and item changes, and related information and anticipates potential supply chain problems which may impact the company
- Utilizes system to generate and record purchase orders, repair orders, and quotes to receive goods and match to invoices, ensuring accuracy in all steps
- Evaluates vendor quotes and materials to qualify best available suppliers that will meet company quality requirements
- Reviews and verifies incoming documentation and provides disposition for proper receipt of aircraft parts
- Supports Procurement, Customer Service, and Production Planning departments, focusing on continuous improvement of products and processes according to customers' needs
- Supports business operations covering materials planning, inventory control, outsourcing, and vendor selection
- Assists the Supply Chain department with minimizing total supply chain cost and maximizing supply chain effectiveness
- Performs all other duties assigned by Director Purchasing or VP Supply Chain
What you bring
- Associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in aviation field
- 2+ years of technical experience related to aviation parts
- Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24 knowledge preferred
- Advanced computer skills including MS Windows and MS Office Professional
- Ability to learn and utilize aviation technical software; working knowledge of Quantum is a plus
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to prioritize the workload and produce high quality, detailed work on a consistent basis
- Must qualify as a U.S. person in compliance with ITAR 22 CFR 120.15
