As a dental assistant you are the first to see the patient and it is your duty to give reassurance of ou rquality care. Be friendly and thank them for seeing our Doctors. Do all that you can to make the patient comfortable prior to being seen by the Doctor.

Your duties may include any of the following:

• Seating and prepping patients
• Setting rooms, x-rays, and developing
• Assist surgical procedures
• Take impressions
• Fabricate splints
• Show videos
• Give post-op instructions
• Sterilize instruments
• Clean rooms
• Set trays and track medications
• Monitor O2/N20 tanks
• Follow OSHA regulations and keep records
• Maintain stock
• Check Emergency and Crash carts
• Assist front office when needed

As an Anesthetic assistant you will pass meds, keep airways open, monitor patient vitals and stay with patient after surgery.

There may be other duties that are not mentioned by this description. This postition may change from time to time as required by the needs of the Doctors.

Requirements:

• Obtaining an RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) certification is not a prerequisite for this job, but completing dental assistant training is necessary.
• Maintain CPR certification
• Maintain x-ray certification
• Attend all required OSHA meetings
• Read employee handbook and other employment requirements and information

Salary:

Bonus pay will be included after 90 days

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
