Job Summary: The Pub Keeper will be responsible for running Symphony Linden’s Choo Chews Pub! This position offers flexible hours of Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 12:00pm to 6:00pm! This position will provide high level customer service talent to bring the Pub experience to new levels for our guests and their families. This position will report to the Activities Director and Administrator
Essential Functions:
Open and close the Pub.
Create an environment that encourages guests to visit Choo Chews Pub for either a cold local draft beer on tap, non-alcoholic drink, and snacks.
Greets customers.
Make fresh coffee and arrange coffee supplies to make attractive displays.
Maintains area in a neat and sanitary manner.
Sell snacks, sodas, and other items available for purchase.
Operate a cash/credit card/electronic payment register.
Evaluate with the Administrator and Activities Director and implement opportunities to continue to improve the Choo Chews Pub experience.
Participate in other life enrichment and marketing events for the center.
Qualifications/Experience:
Must be 21-year-old or older.
Must be available to work weekends and some holidays.
Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum of 5 ft. and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 ft.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and work at a fast pace while paying close attention to detail.
Operate a cash/credit card/electronic payment register. Be trusted to manage cash and make exact change.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
