Sr. Telecommunications Design Consultant:

Phase Shift Consulting seeks a Sr. Telecommunications Design Consultant in the Washington/Baltimore/Philadelphia area with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience to join the firm’s growing team. Founded on the core tenets of SERVICE, QUALITY, AGILITY and INNOVATION, Phase Shift wraps the deep project experience of its staff inside a nimble business model suited to delivering results in today’s changing marketplace. We specialize in all aspects of technology consulting for the built environment, including AV, IT, Security, Medical Communications, and the Internet of Things.

Responsibilities

• Independently interfacing with clients to assess project needs, researching and developing telecommunications solutions.
• Preparing construction drawings and specifications.
• Project management as it relates to design.
• Perform site inspections during construction phase.

Job Requirements

• A college degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• RCDD certification preferred or current trajectory toward that within 1 year.
• Working knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
• Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects.
• Maintains effective communication with project team members.
• Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive relationships.
• Experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD not required but a benefit.
