What You Will Do:
  • Enable the safe (personal and process safety) and efficient operation of the assets managed.
  • Intimate knowledge of the Safety Standards, OMM Book 1, Book 3, Book 5, and Book 6.
  • Ensure compliance with all environmental permits (air operating permits, SPCC, waste, chemical inventory, etc.) and manage environmental documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with the safety standards.
  • Support CCO that all oil movements within the Terminal and Line 81 are accomplished in a proper and efficient manner.
  • Review measurement checks to ensure completion and support resolution of measurement issues.
  • Support measurement audits and ensure deficiencies are promptly addressed.
  • Provide customer service with respect to measurement tickets, sample requests, equipment checks and periodic certifications.
  • Oversight of Clearbrook Terminal Site Security system and personnel.
  • Confirm OQ and all other required training is complete for the terminal and field operations employees.
  • Ensure purchase/service orders are in place for all contractor activities.
  • Coordinate sample requests and manage chain of custody.
  • Assist Terminal Supervisor with OpEx budget control and improve processes where possible.
  • Complete ICS role specific training as assigned to support emergency response capability of the Region
  • Assume delegated responsibility during Terminal Supervisor absence.
  • Maintain Terminal and Line 81 supply inventory and storage
  • Coordinate and lead staff to complete Terminal and Line 81 activities while supporting other groups or projects.
  • Serve as a site contact for projects and contractor activities.
  • Issue appropriate permits and authorizations.
Who You Are:
  • Related university degree and six‐plus years’ experience OR eight‐plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license & good driving record.
  • Good computer (software and app) skills
  • Knowledge of oil/gas pipeline and tank farm operations
Preferred:
  • Knowledge of environmental air, water, and waste compliance
  • Knowledge of security issues and protocols
  • Strong leadership and teambuilding skills
Working Conditions:
  • Office environment with some travel to supported Line 81 station within the specified operating area.
  • Overnight travel 10 – 25 days per year.
  • Occasional long hours, weekends, and on-call required.
Physical Requirements:
Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
