Hope Ranch Learning Academy is a Christian non-profit organization serving students with disabilities and we are looking for a caring and motivated full-time (Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4:00 pm) Vocational Job Coach to join our amazing team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this position, you will be responsible for supporting students with developmental disabilities to develop employability skills and prepare to join the workplace. You will also be responsible for classroom training in life skills to promote independent living.
The Vocational Job Coach transports students to job site experiences, monitors and coaches at the job site, and documents progress. During classroom instruction, the Vocational Job Coach implements lesson plans developed by the Lead Vocational Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma (Associates Degree or higher preferred).
- 3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- 21 years or older.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for the last 3 years.
- Must be able to pass all required background checks.

About Hope Ranch Learning Academy:
Our non-Denominational Christian Private School is set on a wooded horse ranch, and we focus on students with Autism and other learning disabilities. We use innovative teaching and classroom management techniques which include the Teaching Family Model and horse interaction as part of the academic experience.Classrooms consist of 1 Lead Teacher, 1-2 Teaching Assistants and a maximum of 15 students. The Elementary classroom has a 5:1 Student to Instructor ratio and our Middle and High School Classroom has a max of 8:1 Student to Instructor ratio.
