We currently have multiple opportunities for
Warehouse Associates at our Portland, Oregon office. Under direction of the Warehouse Manager
. The role is a fulltime permanent role, hours of work are 7:30am-3:30pm with a 30-minute lunch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload trucks, receive all incoming materials, supplies, equipment and returned goods, matching purchase orders to sales orders for distribution
- Put materials, supplies, equipment in designated areas
- Moving materials and items from receiving to shipping or other designated areas
- Maintain records and prepare receiving reports
- Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, bins, according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, product code
- Weighing and counting items for distribution within plant
- Marking materials with identifying info using appropriate method
- Filling requisitions, work orders or requests for materials and distributing to designated areas
- Issue work orders to floor
- Operate forklift
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Competencies:
- Physically able to lift heavy shipments and products between 25 to 50 pounds;
- Ability to operate industrial lift trucks, pallet jack, and forklifts;
- Good communication skills (verbal and written);
- Detail oriented;
- Significant use of memory;
- Ability to operate a computerized inventory control system;
- Team player with a positive attitude;
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- One year of related experience and asset but not required as we will train;
- High School diploma or GED
