The schedule is Sunday- Thursday 7:00 pm- 4:30 am.
They must not be afraid of heights as the cherry picker will require being in the air on the cherry picker.
**Even if they know how to ride they will have to be certified by SGWS trainer before they can get on the equipment**
We work nights, 4:30 pm till the end which can range from 4:30 am to 8 :00 am
**There is a potential of going temp to perm**
One of the biggest challenges, talking on the cell phones, going back and forth all shift to get drinks and snacks from the break room. _ NO food or sodas are allowed on the floor. They can bring a clear water bottles. Many are leaving the floor to get water and using the coffee cups for water. We have water at every area. They need to bring a water bottle.
Load and unload cases of wine/spirits product within a warehouse facility. Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within or between storage facilities. The physical, fast-paced position requires continual lifting, lowering and sliding cases of product which weigh 35 - 45 lbs. and occasionally may weigh up to 60 lbs. Conduct inventory counts. Perform basic housekeeping in assigned areas of warehouse. Adhere to all safety procedures/standards within the course of performing job duties. Report to work daily and adhere to Southern's time and attendance policy.
Foot Protection is required for this position. Closed-toe shoes or preferably, steel-toe boots are required.
