Your Role
As a Warehouse Team Lead, you will report to a Manager and have general responsibility for coordinating and supervising daily logistics activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. The shift is from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm; this is a startup operation so some overtime and weekends will be required. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.Your Responsibilities
- You will provide daily tactical direction and guidance to warehouse associates for daily workloads in a pharmaceutical warehousing environment
- Motivate and guide your team to ensure the full and efficient operation of the distribution center
- Monitor the daily labor, work schedules, and daily attendance of employees
- Operate material handling equipment
- Count items and enter information into computer databases
- Ensure conditions are maintained and always fresh and clean
- Participate in practices that improve productivity and efficiency while minimizing waste
- Identify products damaged during transportation and confirm the quality of goods
Your Skills and Experiences
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in a warehousing environment, including at least 1 year of recent experience in a Lead or supervisory role
- Experience in forklift operations
- Forklift certification
- Can work overtime and weekends
