Position: Warehouse person

Location: Troy, MO 63379

Duration: 2 Months

Pay rate: $20.50/hr.

Shift: Day Shift 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Job Description:

· Responsible for accurately performing all warehouse activities while maintaining company standards in safety, security, quality, and productivity.

· Responsible for ensuring that all orders are processed accurately and in a timely fashion.

· Performs routine and repetitive operations and processes that may include.

· Responsible for the receipt and shipment of materials, supplies, and products.

· Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.

· Sorts, fills, packs, places, and arranges orders from warehouse stock, shelves, or bins according to written order.

· Assemble customer orders from stock, stage orders and/or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.

· Checks orders for exactness and neatness.

· Efficiently moves and loads product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers.

· Performs picking duties in an efficient manner that meets both company and customer standards. Seals, weighs, transports, stacks, and labels parcels with appropriate identification labels.

· Handles and maintains a flow of materials and products in distribution areas according to established guidelines.

· May operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment once necessary company training is completed.

· May regularly require use of radio frequency devices and/or computer systems.

· Maintains company standards regarding safety and security Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area.

· Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse.

· Participates in all required safety training and constantly adheres to all rules and regulations given during courses.

· Complies with all warehouse Safety Rules, OSHA regulations and SDS standards.

· Must demonstrate the ability to learn the necessary skills, knowledge, abilities, and behaviors for the purposes of cross-training and job assignments in all departments.

· Ability to follow standardized procedures, and verbal, and written instructions.

· Must be able to read and write in English, count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly.

· Must be dependable and maintain a good attendance record Must be able to work overtime when business needs require.

· Must be capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.

· Must be able to lift/push/carry up to 50 lbs.

· Must be able to work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold).

· Must be able to work from variable heights while wearing a safety harness while working in a position that requires the use of equipment operation.

· High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.

· 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
