WATER AEROBICS INSTRUCTOR (Independent Contractor)

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Wachesaw Plantation Club is hiring an independent contractor to serve as a Water Aerobics Instructor, providing safe and effective aquatic fitness instruction to Club Members twice per week during the summer months (June-
September).

DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicates effectively and positively with Club Members and Staff.
• Creates water aerobics lesson plans and classes to accommodate a variety of fitness levels.
• Provides safe and effective aquatic fitness instruction for Club Members.
• Works with Club Administration to prepare communication regarding the Water Aerobics program.
• Reports any facility issues to Club Administration immediately.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

• At least one year experience as a water aerobics instructor and certification with ACSM, ACE, AFAA, AEA, or other nationally recognized certifying body.
• Adult CPR Certification preferred.
• Effective and positive interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30am-10:30am beginning June 6, 2023 and running through September 28, 2023.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
