Job Title: Wellness Center Clerk

Department: Fitness Center

Reports To: Well Center Manager

FLSA Status: Part- Time (4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday – Friday)

Summary – Performs a variety of duties involving operations of the fitness center. Must be able to work independently with good judgment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for signing individuals in and out of the fitness center.
  • Responsible for signing up new members.
  • Responsible for handling money.
  • Must assist individuals on the equipment and explain how to use equipment properly.
  • Responsible for cleanliness of equipment including wiping down throughout shift.
  • Responsible for securing fitness center at the end of the shift.
  • Maintain records for insurance billing.
  • Will assist with scheduling community events in WELL Center Outlook Calendar.
  • Will collect money for senior lunch program as assigned.
  • Must have good communication and people skills.
  • Must have basic level of computer skills.

Education and/or Experience - High School education.

Language Skills – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to interact positively with fellow employees and the community members.

Reasoning Ability– Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
