We're excited to continue solidifying that foundation as we are looking for a WordPress Developer to join our growing team in Daytona.
The WordPress Developer will engage with the Digital Marketing team and various profit centers to build and maintain our internet presence. They will participate in the design, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment of new and existing websites. They will resolve customer complaints and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Candidate should be able to work well with co-located and distributed team members.

General Responsibilities:

Demonstrate a high degree of creativity and problem-solving skill

Work with users to gather and document requirements and design robust user-friendly solutions

Deliver work using Agile methodologies by participating in daily standups, code reviews, backlog refinement and other Scrum activities

Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy websites using WordPress CMS
-
Produce wireframes
-
Follow secure coding guidelines and branding standards
-
Migrate acceptable sites into the B&B hosting environment
-
Other duties may be performed, both major and minor
Required Qualifications:
-
2+ years of experience in all phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, and source code management
-
2+ years of experience coding in PHP
-
2+ years generalized LAMP experience
-
Proficient in WordPress, specifically:
-
Custom Post Types,
-
Advanced Custom Fields,
-
Syncing DEV and PROD environments,
-
Hooks/Actions/Filters,
-
Custom Theme and Plugin Development,
-
Debugging/Security
-
-
Expert in CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and Responsive design
-
Experience integrating with SOAP and/or Restful Web Services
-
Hands-on experience using source control repositories - Git based preferred

Experience dealing with relational databases: SQL, normalization, indexes, stored procedures, triggers, etc.

Enjoy learning new technologies and enhancing existing skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of and experience with meeting WCAG standards.
