Express Employment is seeking a Yard Operator to work in the shipping and receiving department for manufacturer in Francisville, IN. You will be responsible for helping customers, loading and unloading trucks, preparing UPS shipments, rotating stock, count inventory, keeping stock yard and warehouses clean and maintained, and helping out where needed.

Currently seeking a Day Shift position Monday-Friday 7AM-5PM (1 hour lunch). Overtime is required

Positions starting from $17-20/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities: Yard Operator

• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications
• Inspect incoming materials and verify packing slips
• Inspect yard equipment
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet distribution schedules
• Maintain positive relationship with customer contact
• Promote team effort in helping each other. This will increase the performance levels of all in supplying a high standard of satisfactory service to the customer
• Always promotes safety first and assists in maintaining housekeeping requirements on the premises

Requirements: Yard Operator

• Must have knowledge of, and be able to identify all products
• Must be able to competently operate all distribution equipment
• Must be able to count inventory
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
• Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions
• Regularly works in outside weather conditions
• Lifting and/or move up to 100 lbs. consistently with heavier weight necessary at times
• Must be able to talk, hear, listen and speak English clearly
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms
• Must be able to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Required to wear safety provided apparel
• Must have a valid Driver's License
