Firwood Gardens is opening a 15 unit specialty needs program serving high acuity clients. This community will have leadership staff solely dedicated to serving this 15 person program, including 7 day a week nurse coverage and h igh staff to resident ratios on all shifts.

The Activities Director will plan and coordinate meaningful activities to enrich the lives and environment of our residents. This is a fun and rewarding job that helps maintain and foster a positive atmosphere. Sapphire will provide the training and guidance to make sure you are confident in this role.

This newly remodeled community offers 2 dining rooms, a large gathering room utilized by both staff and residents alike. Firwood Gardens brings life and laughter to those we serve. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the direct oversight of the indoor and outdoor activities
- Plan and carry out a creative and enjoyable life enrichment program in accordance with resident interests
- Coordinate monthly activity calendar making it available to all residents, families and friends
- Conduct one on one activities with residents
- Collaborate with outside community organizations or volunteers
- Oversee the life enrichment budget
- The Activity Director will document all participation from residents
- Assists in timely decorating for holidays or special events
- Other duties as assigned
